Gemini Investors and its predecessor entity have been making investments in middle market companies since 1993. The firm has raised three limited partnership funds representing in excess of $300 million of capital under management.

Gemini invests in rapidly growing, established companies. Gemini invests throughout the United States in a wide range of industries. Areas of particular focus at Gemini are information technology, business services, and consumer services.

Gemini will typically make minority equity investments of between $2 and $8 million. The investment is usually in the form of preferred stock or subordinated debt. Typically, Gemini’s investment horizon is five years from the date of investment.

The three general partners of Gemini, Jim Goodman, Jeff Newton and David Millet, collectively have seventy years of business experience in principal investing, operating businesses, investment banking, and management consulting.

Gemini funds are Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) funds, and are licensed by the United States Small Business Administration.
