Gemini will typically make significant minority equity investments of between $2 and $8 million. The investment is usually in the form of preferred stock or subordinated debt. Gemini’s investment horizon is five years from the date of investment.

Depending on the size of the company and the amount invested, Gemini would expect to own warrants or other equity securities representing 5% to 50% of a company’s ownership.

One or more of the Gemini partners would ordinarily sit on the company’s Board of Directors during the period of Gemini’s investment.
