James T. Rich, Managing Director
Since joining the firm in 2000, Jimmy has been actively involved in investing Gemini’s two most recent funds during which time Gemini has completed over 50 transactions. He has played a lead role in over fifteen of these investments and has served on the Board of Directors of over a dozen Gemini portfolio companies. In addition to the expertise he has developed in the education and waste industries, he has also led investments in software, manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining Gemini, Jimmy was a Senior Associate at Citizens Energy where he concentrated on business development initiatives. He began his career as an Analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for consumer businesses. Jimmy holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College.
